Car #10 Mr.Steve's 1955 Chevy Belair 2 Door Hardtop

Mr. Steve's 1955 Belair started life at another shop, the car had some rust repaired and the car was painted a very bright yellow, as was the frame. When Mr. Steve got the car back and was getting the car ready for the interior shop a lot of issues started popping up on the car, and the decision was made for the car to be sent to the blaster and brought to our shop to have the car fixed correctly. Once getting the chassis we noticed that the chassis was actually twisted and wasn't corrected before it was painted the first time, we have since corrected that issue, and because this car is getting a 700 HorsePower Big Block Chevy, some upgrades were added. The chassis now has a 4 link rear with coil overs and sway bar, and a 2 inch Mini Tub so that he can run a Much Bigger tire to be able to put the power down to the ground. The front suspension is all Tubular with a Power Rack and Pinion. When the Body came back from the blaster it would new a load of new Panels; Full Floors, Full Trunk with shaved spare tire hole, Inner and Outer Rear section below the trunk lid and between the bumper, Both Quarters, and both Tops above the headlight on the front Fenders. Mr. Steve wants the car to still retain all factory Belair trim on the exterior, with the only custom mods exterior wise being; a shaved gas fill door and a remote tail light with a hidden gas door behind it. Under the Hood is where all the custom touches for this car exist other then a modern interior going in the car. A Fully Custom Firewall, one off custom inner fenders with custom upper a-arm covers made out of metal, Fully polished radiator/core support system, had made ouster grill surrounds, custom one pieces radiator cover and motor cover. We have upgraded the motor to a Edelbrock Fuel Injection Unit, and the car will as well be running a Fully Polished Vintage Air Serpentine Belt System. What most people won't notice, but has been done to this car and are some cool features are; 28 gallon fully polished gas tank, hidden brake system with remote reservoir, and a set of one off headers made right here in the shop. Many more pics to come as this is a work in progress.
