Some times years of waiting for that invite to come look at one car, truly opens the door for a few others. After finally getting the invite to come look at the 1966 Corvette 427 Roadster, which we ended up purchasing, the gentlman who owned that car happened to show us these two twins the same day that we made the deal for the Vette. Both identical twins with the difference only being one was a convertible with a Contential Kit on the back and the other being a Hardtop version. And just like the Vette both of these had been sitting since way before my Birth. We looked the cars over that same day, and got the story of how he got them, and left that evening with the 427 Corvette with the thought that he may soon sale those two as a pair as well. After letting him know real quick that he had already taken all out money on the Vette, we couldnt purchase those two any time soon anyway. He smiled, and said "I'll let you know when I'm ready." Well that ready wasnt but a week or two later, and luckly after selling off two projects and a few other things, we was able to load these two up and let them see the sunshine for the first time as well in a very long time of sleep like the corvette.
